There is a large open meadow of native grasses that is sub-irrigated from snowmelt that flows from the shoulders of Prospect Mountain, which rises from the southern edge of the property. National Forest and Wilderness access: To the south, the property is bounded by National Forest and the Raggeds Wilderness Area. Horse property: The Ten Peaks Ranch is an ideal parcel of vacant riverfront Colorado mountain land that can be used as a horse property. The ranch has been historically used to graze the horses for the outfitter in Marble. The ranch would be able to graze 10-12 horses during the summer and autumn months. Most people in this area move their horses to winter pasture when the snow gets deep. Winter snow depths are typically 2-3 feet on the Ten Peaks Ranch.
